When Healing Hasn't Happened

Reflect for a moment on something in your life that nags at you, teases you, even, or weighs you down like a swallow laboring into flight trailing a bag of trash around its ankle.

It might be a chronic condition like heart disease, macular degeneration or arthritis. It might be about relationships, family or divorce. It might be lingering grief and a deepening depression over the death of a loved one, whether of old age, by murder or suicide.

Whatever it is, what do you do when healing hasn't happened? I would love to hear your thoughts and what you've found helpful.
